Go On and Love Yourself: Self-Love + Body Image
Self-love is not just about what’s going on in your mind and career. It’s something you need to apply to your body. When you live a healthy lifestyle, you are practicing selflove. When you don’t take care of yourself it inhibits achieving your goals and being in a healthy mindset. When you feel good you do good.
Lets be frank. It’s hard for some people to workout and drink lots of water. It feels like punishment. When you change your way of thinking to a more positive one, you can see and experience results. It’s all in the way you look at it. Are you worried or upset when someone says you could stand to lose a little weight? That could hurt anyone’s feelings. But if you are a believer in self-love and you really feel it deep inside, these comments can roll off your back.
Exercise helps improve your mood. For people who suffer from depression and anxiety, it can aid in releasing those feelings for a more healthy mindset. What do you currently do to stay fit? What could you do better? You can start with one or two things to incorporate health and fitness into your lifestyle.
People of all shapes and sizes can benefit from exercise. Even someone who is thin, may not have the endurance to run as many miles as someone with a larger body weight. We can’t judge a book by its cover.
Self-love and health are imperative to living your ideal life. Some times we are caught in a rut. Eating bad foods and feeling lousy afterwards. With all of our technologically advances, many are exercising their minds and not engaging in a healthy dose of physical activity.
Wherever you are in your life, you can grow. If you are wanting to lose weight or gain more endurance, it’s going to take you getting into a self-love healthy mindset.
Make a plan and put it into action. Make a list of things you can do that can get you more active. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to do it.
Eating healthy is important because no matter how hard you exercise, poor diet can ruin your health and weight loss plans.
Cutting certain foods in your daily diet can help you love a more healthy life. Sodas, chips and sugary sweets are the first thing to avoid or eat in moderation. Drinking water is essential to a clean body. The more water you drink, the less hungry you will be throughout the day. Sometimes your body makes you feel like your hungry but what you really are is dehydrated from lack of water.
When you have the mindset that you aren’t on a diet but on a journey of selflove and health, you immediately take the angst out of the process. Think of this as a journey to health and prosperity. It’s not about dieting, it’s about feeling look so you can work on your dreams daily.
Sometimes others can make us feel bad about our bodies. Body shaming is on the rise and we see it played out online. What’s important to remember is that you are on your own journey. Everyone is at a different level of fitness. Some people could be thin or have extra weight due to a health condition. We don’t know everyone’s situation. Unfortunately everyone doesn’t understand this. Those that ridicule and body shame should be handled in a non-reactive way. “Sorry you feel that way and you’re not satisfied with what I look like but I’m living each day for me.”
